BACKGROUND

As a combative sport, wrestling places unique stresses on the body and mind. Wrestling places constant demands on the body's energy systems resulting in fatigue and power loss. SPS understands these unqiue needs and the toll it takes on a wrestler's body, especially a wrestler not properly prepared and conditioned. SPS's functional programs take the wrestler to the 'NEXT LEVEL', both phyiscally and psychologically.

SPS focuses on training athletes smarter, using scientifically proven methods, protocols and strategies to provide the wretler with a holistic approach and advantage. This approach provides for a more efficient and effective training strategythat benefits the wrestler.

The high intensity and dynamic program will test each wrestler's physical and psychological threshold. Through a systematic and evidence-based apporach, SPS has designed a program that challenges the body systems as they would under match conditions. The "Pit Bull" and "Gorilla" ae just two of our explosive exercises. These sport-specific protocols not only provide performance conditioning but also aids in injury prevention and reduction.
