BJ Wagner is a freshman at Blue Mountain High School. He is our Winter 2009 Featured Athlete. He is our third Blue Mountain Athlete to be featured in the last year.

BJ participated in organized football from 5th to 8th grade and played both in the Blue Mountain and Schuylkill Haven recreation basketball programs from 3rd through 7th grade. He has also participated in outdoor tournaments. BJ played on the 8th grade junior high basketball team last year. BJ is in the college prep curriculum and has aspirations of being a big city firefighter.

In regards to the SPS program, BJ's dad stated, "your (SPS) program has given BJ the conditioning and confidence to succeed at the next level. This program is implemented in such a positive way that it makes it easy for him to return for more sessions". BJ stated, "I just want to say thanks for all your help with training. It really paid off!!! Just to let you know, I made the basketball team--all thanks to your (SPS) help".
